Jamie and Lynette Sutton started a documentary film festval in Homer Alaska in 2003. Lynette had arrived in Homer in 1976 and built a cabin 11 miles out of town. In 2003 she bought the funky old theatre in Homer and fixed it up.  She had the thought that they could show great movies , and have a film festival!

So that is exactly what she and Jamie, did.

The Homer festival was a great success and as they now they now knew the ropes of putting on a film event, Jamie and Lynette brought their expertise to Stinson Beach in 2014.
